The Horniman Museum has been a part of my life since I can remember. I went there as a child. I was part of their Youth Panel and I have been working there as a Visitor Host for the last three years. I am even a subject in one of the exhibits in the World Gallery (see labelled images below)

When deciding what to do my project on I found inspiration by discovering what without failure ignited passion within me (Rabiger 2004.) To do this I had to pick something that will give me a strong sense of purpose so that I can hold meaning in my own work (Rabiger 2004.) With the Horniman being a consistent and significant part of my life I thought of the idea to film my project there. There are a few exhibitions related to climate change that inspired the making of Sea Change. My initial ideas from my symbolic camera were focused on climate change and how people react and interpret it. The Horniman has become more sustainable over the years and has declared a climate emergency which as in turn fuelled my passion for sustainable change.
